Did you do the jet kit because of the exhaust? Did it run better with the new exhaust, but need some tuning, or did the exhaust manufacturer recommend a jet kit to get the most out of the system? Got any pics of it? Just curious what it looks like....
I sure hope your shop gets it running good for ya without costing you an arm and a leg, I know I spent a LOT of time getting mine just right, and it would have cost me a small fortune to pay somebody to do it, but it was a learning curve for me too, it probably would have taken an experienced bike technician a fair bit less time, especially having a better idea where to start, jetting wise.
Now that the weather is warming up, I think I'm gonna have to drop back down a couple sizes, mines acting a little rich the last week or two.

 

I wanted to jet the bike just to be sure that i do not lean the bike out and cause major damage. Mainly just for assurance that things would be alright I guess
