RE: ideas for a front stand????
I have a very easy solution. All you need is two tiedowns (preferably the ratchet types) and an open rafter in your garage. You tie the one end of the tiedown to the rafter and then hook the other end to your handlebars. This means you are going to have two tiedowns tied to the rafter and then the other ends to the left and right handle bars.
Try and space them far apart on the rafter. I found that on the F3 there’s not much space on the handle bars so I just hooked them to the left and right sides of the yoke. Then you just ratchet the tiedowns up untill your front wheel is in the air.It works pretty much like a chain block. The bike will wiggle around but don’t worry the bike can’t go anywhere. If it will make you feel better you can put the bike in gear. Just make sure the tiedowns are secure to the bike and that they don’t touch the fairing or screen as to scratch them. Don’t worry about the rafter. Your roof is much heavier then the bike. Unless its rotten it won’t brake. Just don’t try to sit on the bike
