Default I need some advice.

I have a '96 600 F3. Other than a jet kit and a Hindle exhaust, it's bone stock. What are some other things I can do to it to make it faster? Velocity stacks? Do they make MSD-type ignitions for my bike? Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,
James D

change your sprockets drop some in the front, add some to the back. you'll lose top end but it will be quicker

well, the stock ignition is already capacitive discharge, which is similar to MSD.. After changing the exhaust and the jetting, I dont think there is a whole lot you can do to it, without getting inside the motor. I'd stay away from airbox mods, since these bikes seem to be pretty dependant on the airbox volume from a driveability standpoint. Just puttin a K&N filter gave my bike a huge flat spot around 6-7K. I'd put a -1 front sprocket, and maybe +1 in the rear, and maybe get some dyno time from a reputable tuner, that might be able to jet it a bit better..
