How to change fuel filter??
its on the left side of your bike. will have to remove the left side fairings and possibly the gas tank to give you more room to work with your hands. you'll see the fuel feed line coming from the tank, going into this filter. it should be clear, and about 1.75" to 2" long. from there, it go's into your fuel pump. should be a straight forward; easy swap.
I'm sure you could buy an OEM one from your local Honda dealer. If not, they'll have some at Auto Zone that fit those fuel lines. They all do they same trick really. Chances are that the Auto Zone one won't fit in that black vibration thing though so you'd have to find another way to mount it. OEM filter is about 15 bucks. Part # 16900-MG8-003. Auto Zone should be about 5 bucks.
there's a mount for the fuel filter?? hmmm..i guess the previous owner didnt find that very important. I've been running mine for a year with it just hanging there and havent had any problems. i also go mine for advacned auto. its plastic..so i guess no need really for an anti-vibration mount
