Hey everyone, intro and a slight issue
Nice pictures, bike looks really good. You're right on the CCT, that is a manual adjuster. The front turn signals are after market flush mounts. The 97/98's do look a little different from the earlier models, but they're not flush mounts. Keep up the good work.
sorry for the confusion I meant the taillight, the integrated tail is a 97-98 the front signals are just aftermarket "big flushmounts" lol
anyways the bike bug has bitten me, I'm hooked lol, started spending more money tonight

got almost all of the necessary f4i parts for almost nothing, just need the stay brackets and a headlight, then I need to debate between getting the 97-98 tail panels to match my rear or a RR tail, I need to find pics of an f4i front with the f3 rear.
anyways I'm really hoping my battery arrives tomorrow. Have a goodnight guys
Hey bro i hope your new battery solves the problem! I was just wondering if by any chance you planned on taking off your rear hugger that i might be able to buy it off of you? Anyways just let me know. I two just bought the same color F3 with 13,000 miles on it and it needs new fairings and some TLC before i take pictures and show it to these guys. Its my first bike as well and i freaking love it! Just need the carbs cleaned so she will fire up! Let me know man! Thank you
Sorry, I'm not selling anything, I'm actually going to pick up a spare tank and once i have the new tail and all the f4i fairings fit, im going to have everything painted whichever color i decide and I'll leave all my purple fairings and tank and parts in my storage unit. When I decide to sell the bike I'll say x amount of dollars as a purple f3 or x amount of dollars + x amount of dollars for a whatever color it ends up being f3 to f4i
Ok update guys, finally got some good weather today and had the day off so I slapped the battery in, noticed it fired up quicker than it ever did since I've had it, barely cranked at all, also sometimes I'd need to give it some throttle on cold starts even with the choke or it wouldnt fully catch and would die, now it's perfect, no flickering lights or gauge.
Took it to work and did my testing, there is zero draw with or without that headlight fuse, battery is 12.something when off and 14.2+ when revving at 5krpms.
So I'll chalk it up to a dying battery. thanks for all the help guys
