Default Help:1998 cbr600 f3 price?

Hey everybody,
Im new to the forum and wondering if anybody can tell me if this sounds like a good deal. A 1998 cbr600 f3 with only 2,500 miles on it for $3600. It is completely stock, which i actually kind of like I think, so I can put extras on myself. It was slowly dropped on its side once and the only things that are scratched are the stickers is what I was told. Been trying to decide between buying a bike or a little truck, and might lean towards this bike if it sounds like a good deal. I have heard these bikes are more comfortable than a lot of other sport bikes, is that true? I would have to drive like 5 hours one way to check it out, so definetely want to know if its worth it. Said they were pretty firm on the price as other people were gonna come look at it too.

thanks, Erich

Might just be the stickers are ruffled up. I've seen bikes fall over to have the stickers get a little mucked up but for the body to be fine. Who knows.

$3600 is probably high for most F3s considering the F3s where the "Gixxers" of their day. Everyone had one wether they never even seen a bike before or raced them. So most are damanged, destroyed, or ragged out to hell. So a low mileage F3 is pretty rare.

If they are asking $3600 you can probably get it for $3k if you flash cash which probably woudn't be too bad.

I dont think it just sat for ten years, It was actually a lady's bike and I think she just didnt drive it a whole lot of miles. yeah she said it was just the stickers roughed up, and it is basically in mint condition so I would say it is worth 3600 easy with that many miles. I have been looking at tons of bikes and most guys want way more money for bikes with way more miles and most of them have been dropped and the fairings are messed up. I dont think they would go down on the price because there would be more people coming to look at it after me. Im a college student so I dont know if I should be spending money on a bike anyway..... it sucks.

Mines only got 25000 kls (15500 mls) on it, & is in pretty good condition. But a 5 hour drive is bloody long way to find out it was all B.S.

The price is a bit high, and that's far too far to drive. Bought my slightly scuffed '97 with 21,500 miles last week for $2600.

It only has 2,500 miles. Pretty sure you will never find a 1998 F3 with that low miles ever. haha. Oh well, probably sticking with getting a truck. I live in wisconsin and dont even have my own car, so that should be first priority. sucks cause I want a new bike cause i just sold mine.

thanks guys,
