having problem with battery

i have a 1996 600 my battery reads good charge but everytime i go start the bike it starts to kill my battery is it my regulator that needs to be check please help!!!!!!!!!

take the battery to a local autozone and have them run a test on it its free. You may have a dead cell that only is appernt under certian condidtions.
