Guys Need Help Please
hey guys i have a fuel prob, i took the bike out for its maiden voyage today and was riding for about 45 minutes, cruising at like 50-60 and when i approach a stop shift down and when i come to that complete stop the bike stalls, its whenever i come to a dead stop pretty much i cleaned the carbs recently, took off the bowl took out both jets, floats and another doodad that sits under neath the float with a rubber point almost at the end. I soaked the jets in sea foam and sprayed all the carbs down with carb and choke cleaner also all the bowls, i do have a dead battery so i just wanted to add that too the mix. Any help would be really appreciated guys.
Also the two rear plugs underneath the gas tank, i have them plugged,, guys i need help
Cheers,
Alex

If you have a completely dead battery, then that alone could be your problems with stalling. At low idle, the alternator doesn't generate enough energy to keep the battery charged and the engine running. Generally the RPM's would need to be maintained above about 3K. Put a known good battery in it and see how it does then.
well i just picked up a batt tonight and its on charge, tomrorow i gotta go the the rennesance fair in pa with ms.wonderful so sunday will be test day i think,
thanks guys.
