on my 95 F3 i have a gas tank that is in good shape, but i am looking to update the look of the tank and the option of a low fuel light or fuel level gauge... do any newer tanks bolt right up at all?

 

streetfighter88 did a f4i tank swap (and shows where to make brackets for it), but didnt install the fuel sensor i dont think.
youd need the gauges to go with it as well.

honestly its kind of a pain in the ***, and i would just figure out your mpg and go by the odometer. most of these bikes get about 150miles a tank if I had to ballpark.

 

Yeah, at 145-165 i have to fill up, but its a nice reminder. its a creature comfort that i like. ill look for his tank swap thread and look into it more. now that i have a name the search feature will work better for me.
