RE: i need help with hid options
I got a set off a guy on here, i dont know if he is still selling them or not, but the guys name is Joseph and he runs a company Xenonrider.com. He sells kits for what you are looking for. I got my kit for under 120 bucks shipped. It was worth every penny in my eyes. I use it in a stock headlamp and it looks and performs a lot better. You can see so much more with HID's. It lights up more on the sides and more of a distance. Install is very simple, you just hook up a postive and negitive off your power coming off your headlight plug. Then you just mount the ballast, which I mounted behind my gauges and then just put the bulb in. It took me like 30 mins. Good luck

I have yet to see anyone retrofit a projector into our headlight housing. It wouldn't ever work right due to what the glass is like. If you want a true projector setup, I suggest buying a race plastic for the front end and cut out the holes to mount a projector inside of. I've got an H4 HID kit on my bike, but, no projector. Yes, it does have some pretty bad glare like the high beams are always on, but, at least I know people see me.

I don't know the technical terms for what I'm explaining, but, i'll try
A completely clear headlight doesn't disperse the light at the glass. The reflectors inside the headlight do that, so, if you were to mount a projector inside a perfectly clear headlight, the light would spread from the projector.
Now, the headlights on our bikes, the housing inside the headlight is smooth to blast the light through the glass, which then disperses the light out across the ground. So, a projector inside of this would then be mixed up through the glass.
That sound about right?
Here's pics of what I am trying to explain
An F4I with clear glass and reflectors
And, here is our headlight, glass that isn't clear
