so im gettin ready to piece my bike together and I find a small hole from rust a coule inches from where the fuel lines go.....I was going to have the rust removed and put a liner in but its useless now... right?? anyways does anyone know where to get a fair priced tank besides ebay?

Depending on it's exact location, it can be patched... but with the cost of coating a tank after having the rust removed, plus patching it... buy a new used one.

 

it might sound like a stupid thing to do but a good welding shop should be able to fix that for you and its on the bottom so who cares what it looks like
