At lunch time I went out to see if the fuel pump was clicking/pumping. Felt the fuel pump with the engine running and it have irratical pumps (p). P....P...............P....P ..P.P.P.P............P..........P...........P. Every time it pumps the engine idle goes up.

Revved up the engine and is still pumped irratically. I have going to replace the pump, because shouldn't it be a constance pumping action instead of an irractic one?

It's been about a year since I messed with the fuel pump, but if I remember correctly, I do believe thats the way it's suppose to perform. I don't think it's a constant pump.

 

had the same problem, the pump cant pump good if the filter is blocked, i changed the filter and never had a problem again.

 

I didn't think about the fuel filter, will look at that tonight. I have a fairly clean one from my parts bike for the time being. Will order a new one if this solves my blogging problem.

 

If the bike is running than the fuel pump is working. They pump should pulse erratically. Its not constant. I would look at your filter and all of your feul lines. See if there is anything in the lines. Also make sure you have the 2 tubes under the tank connected.

 

The pump is self priming,that's why it does that irratic stuff.
