Question Fuel Problem, Oil Pressure or electrical problem?

Hi,
The other night I rode my F3 for the first time in a while after replacing/repairing a bunch of things that I thought would solve the problem only to be left stranded on the side of the road again.

Problem:
1)Rode for 20 or so miles normal - bike started, accelerated, cruised fine.
2)Hit ~ 70mph and the bike started to feel a little low on power. Felt like when you first realize you are running out of gas. Died within 10 sec. (TANK 3/4 full)
3) Bike died, noticed OIL LIGHT on. This was the 1st ride on the oil. checked i - clear, plenty of oil, and no leaks.
4) Waited 2 min, Started right up like normal.
5) Got 2-3 miles, Bike did the same thing (dying) around 60 mph. Oil Light on.
6) Started up again. Kept speeds lower (45 or less) and got home (5 miles)

LATER that evening went for ride (stooo-pid idea).
1) First 20 or so miles, bike started, accelerated, cruised fine, but slower in-town ride this time. (Under 55 mph)
2) Cruising at 55 mph for a short time, bike started to feel starved for gas again (same as before).
3) Bike died, OIL LIGHT ON.
4) Waited a few min, started up, but less easily. .Took longer to turn over.
5) Died again within less than a mile.
6) Restarted (BARELY), and bike died within a block or so.
7) BIKE WOULD NOT RESTART

WHAT I HAVE DONE ALREADY (just recently):
1) Replaced Regulator/Rectifier
2) Replaced Fuel Pump, OEM part
*mechanic thought bike was getting "too much fuel" so he built a bypass. He has tried adjusting/eliminating this since the incident but with no luck.
3) Replaced Float Needles and cleaned carbs.
*Fuel petcock was leaking, so mech installed an additional one along with bypass (aftermarket).

I am really stumped and so is the mechanic who is helping me out -- it seems like I have replaced so many things in the fuel system that commonly cause such problems.

The one thing I am concerned of, is could this be an electrical problem that is causing the fuel system to shut off? I really don't know that much about electrical systems so I'm not sure where to start.

If anyone's had such problems and can explain please help.
Thank you.

Sounds like the about the same exact issue im having now and let me tell ya it progressively gets worst. When its random like that its almost always an electrical issue somewhere... now where is a mystery cause every bike's wiring issue is different. Seriously it could literally be anywhere. A lot of the time its a bad ground or a short in the wiring... bad thing about that is that its not always visible which is my current issue. There is a break in the wiring somewhere on the inside of the insulation so no way to actually see it and when i ride and hit a bump or turn or heck just vibrate at a stop light that small break looses contact for a second. Sometimes it kills the bike but only for a split second and it starts back up. Mostly is kills the bike while riding and im able to pop it in neutral and hit the starter and it comes back on. Initially it did it once or twice a week but over a months time up to this past weekend I couldnt even make it to the corner store without it dying 3-5 times. If you can find the short or exposed wiring then its an easy fix just takes a little time going over all the wiring BUT if you cant the only realistic solution is to buy a complete new wiring harness kit.
