Fuel Leak. HELP!!!!!

RE: Fuel Leak. HELP!!!!!
You have to drain all the fuel out of the tank and the screw it out from the bottom.
You’ll see It’s put together with rivets. What I did was to drill out the rivets and replaced them with screws and nuts. You open it and clean out all the muck, especially where the little ball bearing seats. I also pulled out the spring a bit to give it more tension.(I suppose it’s better to just replace it but I didn’t have any)
When cleaning, be careful not to tear or cut the rubber seals. If you have any sellers of o-rings you can replace the ones on the shaft.
If it still leaks after that then you’ll probably have to replace it.
It seams to me that the fuel pump shuts tight when the bike is of so a little bit of leakage on the tap shouldn’t cause major troubles but I might be wrong.(Check for you’re self)
