Having a little bit of trouble with my carbs. I got the bike idling for a few minutes yesterday, but then it died and wouldn't restart. It'll run when you squirt a little fuel in the carbs so that's got to be where my problem is. Are there any common problems with the carbs that I should check out? I couldn't really find much adjustment on them, but I don't know what I'm looking for anyway. I took the lines off of the fuel rail and the pump seems to be working.

 

i was going to say check the fuel pump but it looks like you have. I dont know of any common problems though. Where are u pouring the gas into the carbs? Sounds like you might have a problem getting the fuel to the carbs...... if the fuel is getting to the carbs then you might have a problem getting from the carbs to the engine. Has the bike been sitting for a while?

 

Its prob. your idle adjuster....give it a 1/4 turn clockwise until it keeps the idle
