FRONT SPROCKET

RE: FRONT SPROCKET
unlikely, but could be possible something is obstructing it. i say yank it and see what's going on with it.
what happened before the noise came about?
after i swapped mine, i had an unusual clicking sound. i took off the sprocket, reinstalled it and re-torqued it to spec, then sound was gone.

RE: FRONT SPROCKET
A bad chain can click when it goes around the front sprocket. Do you have a swingarm stand? If so, spin the wheel and look for tight spots or kinks when it goes around the rear sprocket. They'll be even more noticeable on the smaller front and will/can click. Also, notice if it clicks at the same part(s) of the chain each time around.
I'm new to the F3 and haven't read the manual on chain adj yet but an inch of easy movement sounds right. Too tight can cause problems! [:@]
Good luck.
