Front fork rebuild???

Default Front fork rebuild???

Ok so after 62k miles i think its time to give the front forks a little love...from what i understand to rebuild the forks you basically just replace all the guts?? and if i wanted to buy oem what parts do i need to order? does honda make a kit or just gotta order all the parts individually

I've heard of guys getting damper rods cut to their size, installing stiffer or progressive springs and or revalving. I think the valve jobs are around $100 or so (forks off, obviously) and springs aren't too bad, either.

Racetechs only recommended suggestion for the F3 is a gold valve rebound kit for around $180. They also offer complete cartridges in a "drop-in" kitbut I wouldn't begin to imagine what they would cost. Certainly more than prolly $300.
