Default Frame sliders advice

I recently tipped my bike overwhile I was working on it in my garage. Luckly my garage is a mess and clutter broke the fall. None of the plastic was on the bike at the time - one scraped turn signal was the extent of the damage. After the shock and nausia from watching the bike dump right in front of me passed, I started thinking that some frame sliders would be a good investment.

Can anyone recommend a good set and where are the best places to mount them. I'm a noob to street bikes but I'm pretty much in lust with my 98 F3. I'd like to see some pictures if anybody's got them.

See you on the road.

You can buy sliders that mount on the fairing or on the frame. DO NOT buy the ones that mount to the fairings. They offer no protection. You will need to buy the ones that screw into the frame but you will need to cut out a hole on your fairings to put them back on.

i did some today, turned out near perfect. I followed the laser dot way to do it in the FAQ section. I bought mine from ebay from a vendor called supplyanddemand...spelling my be off. They are extended sliders that bolt to the front engine mounts.

I couple of riders that have seen them say they look like they are stock on the bike, i made the holes fit good and snug.

it just rained and the bike needs a bath. The flash kinda made it look like some big lip is going around the hole. There is just a tiny little one and its black so you cant really see it.
