Default Fork Seals

First bike and very excited!

95 CBR

Needs fork seals, how much will a dealer charge me?

depends on the dealer. they usually charge 100-150 per tube.

Here in WA, they charge about 150-200. it is much easier to do yourself, or with someone. it will only cost about $15. All that u need to make sure of is to keep the front end off the ground. If u have an experienced friend, who knows how to do it, it will take only 2-3 hours. its just hard labor for a newb.

Get hold of a HAYNES or Clymer manual, it gives an indepth tutorial on how to replace the seals
they are not hard to do yourself and there is no spring pressure to worry about when you strip em'
You'll save a shed load of money,
All you need is the seals and the fork oil[sm=alcoholic.gif]

exactly. that's what im saying. i have the same issue right now. all i need is an idea of keeping the front end off the ground. but after i figure out that, its only like $15.00. Also, you'd be stupid if you were only to change the leaking one...
