Front is 120/60/17 rear is 160/60/17

Is that right for a 1997 f3??

i thought it was 120/70/17

can anyone else verify both tire sizes for this year?

Thanks for the help. I installed my turn signals last night, and I ordered new tires =]

I just need to get a new air filter and spark plugs.

Is there any good brands for spark plugs, or are they all about the same?

For the air filter i think i will get a k&n

if im not mistaken my 98 has a 120/70 on the front and for your carbs, buy a can of seafoam and put that in the gas tank and run it thru.that may help get rid of any varnish that is in the carbs.

this is the page from the F3 manual with tire recommendation, it says 120/60 ZR17 Front, and 160/60 ZR17.

NGK irridiums are about as good as it gets without really breaking the bank. I'm gonna be changing plugs soon too and that's what I picked up.

P.S. Don't forget a little "anti-seeze"

I have the manual for my bike, but i was wondering if anyone had a detailed how to on changing the spark plugs with pictures. Also, do you know of any tools that i will need to have. I don't have a spark plug socket adapter yet, or a torque wrench. I am pretty sure that i will need these. Anything else that i might be forgetting?

definately go with NGK plugs...I use em in everything I have. A little pricey for the good ones (around $12 a piece) but they are worth it.
