I was curious about my trip gauage again. I had a chance to take it off the bike, and try to unscrew the face plate of the tach, but I can't figure out how to pull of the needle, so can anyone help me there?

 

U just pull it of gently trying not to bend the axle.
What seems to be wrong with your trip?
Usually you don't need to take of the face and you can work on it from behind because it's open from the back. I you do take of the face it's quite a hassle to get the needle back in the same position because it's under tension.

 

okay. good thing I haven't taken off the needle than.
