This is very true chad.

My buddy put Lines on his 05 gix 600. I had ridden it before and after the install. It wasnt as noticeable as I wouldve thought. It was better but, um not night and day different. I think it was because his rubber lines were fairly new. I can tell a huge difference just in lever stiffness/pressure, on my bike, plus the old lines were stock!!!!!!!!!

 

Oh yeah baby. Man are these brakes STRONG now. I Use a 2 finger brake style and I could EASILY stop my bike from say 60 to nothing with just a 1 finger pull. The Feel is amazing, the harder you pull the stiffer the lever gets. I cant really explain it. This is by far the best performance wise mod I have done. Speechless!!!!!

If youve played around with the thought of getting ss lines, GET THEM you will not be disappointed.......

BTW I changed the lines, and the pads, and new fluid.

yes SS lines are one of the best mods ever on abike. i personally wouldn't put them on the rear as the rear locks easily even with rubber hoses.
