Faster or Quicker?????

Default Faster or Quicker?????

What could i buy to make my 1996 F3 quicker or faster.... I can't do a wheelie its not quick enough, and it is kinda slow compared to other F3's..... Please Help

what you mean its not quick enough ? i have a 98 n i can bring it up in first easily with stock sprockets .i dont think there is any sprocket combo out there thats gonna make you get the front up in 4 gear n higher .

It has no power or it takes a while.... I may have to mess around with the throttle... but if i were to get a new sprocket how many teeth would i have to get (54???)

its not the bike its you. the f3 will come up in 1st gear with stock gearing. i think stock gearing is 15/43 so if you went with a 14/45 you would be just fine. and able to bring it up no problem .. that is ofcourse you get out there and practice and dont expect to be 10 mile riding , high chair sitting , wheelie king rightaway ..

Before you start modding, make sure the bike is operating properly. This could be a clogged air filter or fuel line, fouled plugs,you're running too lean, or maybe something else.

My 96 will get right up in first and second. I haven't tried any other gears. I think the stock sproket is 15/43. You can buy a replacement one of ebay for about 150 bucks that is a 14/43 and that should make it a lot easier.

mine will come up in forst and second under hard acceleration, I haven't tried slipping the clutch and to be honest don't want to, wheelies just increase the chance of crashing or loosing you liscence.
