hey guys just finished my f4i swap. here some picks. i got the plugs from vintage connections for simple removal and factory look. (as much as possible at least) thanks madhatter for that one. i used 1/8 inch thick aluminum plate. and placed a carbon fiber wrap over it.

having prob uploading pics. if anyone is interested is a mounting plate like this. send me an email. i have enough material left to make around 5 or so

Yes there is a clock, you have to run a wire direct to the battery to keep it from resetting.

The temp guage goes from analog on the f3, to a digital numeric on the f4i.
You have to change the temp sensor to a 99-00 900rr to make it work properly,
though. It's located just above the carbs on the right, by the cct.

No fuel guage (of course) but you also get 2 (A-B) trip odometers that can be reset.
I use the 'B' one as my fuel guage, refilling when I get to about 120miles.

And you can use the engine diagnostic light (F1) for a kickstand light, as well.

kinda curious, but why can't the f3 have a fuel gauge if a sending unit was placed in the tank and another gauge was added?
