F4 rim is wider and would require a different spacer.. not a real easy swap.

When you guys talk about the tire hugger are you talking about the rear "fender"?

I was digging around on this more myself. The info I found was about 900rr wheels. Basicly, the sprocket is so far left (sitting ont he bike) that toline it up with the engine, the wheel willbe off center to the right of the front wheel.

Since a 900rr wheel is also a 5.5, I would assume that an F4/F4i wheel would give the same issue.

I just picked up a 900rr wheel, and will check this out in the next few days....sadly, this wasn't on purpose...it was suposed to be an F3 wheel...AAARRGGHHHH...thats the third back wheels I've gotten F'd on...

Yes, under your seat.

Also - you don't need to change wheels. As state before - it will fit the F3 wheel.

I was going to tell you to knock it off asking - but you've got a pretty good reason. You're gonna be changing the geometry of the bikes handling when you change the rear tire - so just be ready for a different ride. It's not going to be like a whole new bike, but it will be different.

I wouldn't do the swap myself just for the sake of having a larger rear tire - but in your situation, it's like a sore peter...

You can't beat it!

If you're going to the track - there is no reason to change tires at all. Leave it stock.

Geometries change when you change widths - and if you're taking it to the track you want to get the most out of your bike. LEAVE IT STOCK.

AND FOR EVERYONE ELSE HERE WANTING A 180 REAR - PUT IT ON YOUR DAMN F3 STOCK WHEEL AND YOU'RE GOOD (minus the hugger).

I don't want to have to say it again - so quit asking...

NO ONE NEEDS TO MEASURE ANYTHING - THE 180 WILL FIT THE F3 STOCK WHEEL - ABSOLUTELY NO REASON TO SWAP WHEELS OR TAKE ANY MEASUREMENTS.

No. A 180 tire wraps enough that your handling would suffer. Some slicks are soft enough to not wrap, but most DOT's wont.
