Default Is this F3 too good to be true?

Need some opinions on this bike for sale.
http://milwaukee.craigslist.org/mcy/1619591941.html

Does that price seem too good to be true? Anything in the small pics that scream "don't buy this!"? I emailed the seller for bigger pics. Does the hand brake lever look bent? haha maybe the fact that it has new "tires" on the front could mean something.

Sorry, I'm sure you guys get a lot of these posts. But if this bike can do what I ask, I don't wanna kick myself for letting it go for that cheap.

Thanks for the help!

not too good to be true at all...i just sold my 98 f3 with 18,435 miles on it for 2 grand...as far as the condition mine was as good as it gets for a bike that old. Go check it out for yourself, the price is right and it looks good

i dont know, i bought my 95 F3 for 950 bucks with only 12,000 miles on it.... it all depends on your area and the inflation on the prices. i personally wouldnt pay 2,000 for a bike with 18,000 miles on it here in my area. 2,000 dollars would buy you a fuel injected bike with about 10,000 miles here....

Thanks for the input guys. All the bikes prices around here are jacked up. A F4 with 35k miles is about $4,000. A lot of the F3s are in the $3k range and the F2s are in the $2,500 range.

I just don't have a legal way of getting it home. Unless I just ride it minus insurance and plates. With my luck....that would be a bad idea.

EDIT: I got some new pics from the seller. The bike has a history just by looking at it. The right side has some issues. It looks like it was down and stuff was replaced on that side. Only the brake lever is carbon fiber...not the clutch. The foot brake is really bent, unless it can be folded away in a funky position. And the plastics don't fit right. The tail section is held together with electrical tape.

Sorry for cluttering up the forum. I got excited. I'm a little impatient and really itching to get a CBR!

You have a legal way to get any bike in the continental US home: U-Haul Road Trip

Go to U-Haul, rent a truck and load er up.

no, uhaul doesn't want people transporting things with gas in them, some companies explicitly say you can't

I picked my bike up in the U-Haul pickup truck. Hardest part was pushing her up the ramp with just 1 person to help (a 3rd in the bed of the truck keeping the bars straight would have helped)

You can rent a motorcycle trailer from them as well

good luck trying to talk to them if you call, i called them asking for more info and it was a Hispanic family and i tried asking them a couple questions but i couldnt even understand what his responses were, he just kept saying "bike work, bike work, new wheel on it." but i would defiantly go look at it if you could
