Did Honda change the way the tails look on the F3's? Some have the boxy look, while others have the F4 look. I am looking at buying an F3 right now with the F4 looking tail. The only reason i didnt want an F3 was the box tail, but now i like these ones.

Anyone know what i am talking about?

95-96 tails are different than the 97-98. The 97-98 is the the more curved tail section that looks a tad more modern.

 

Oh ok. I thought i have seen some 98's with the boxy tails...guess not though. Thanks for clearing that up for me.

That would be quite handy from time to time...

 

answer is yes. you can use the f3 tail on a f2 (along with the rest of the plastics). if you decide to do this you will need the tail, tail light, seat and battery box.

also if you just use the search function there are a few write up on how to do this and a good number of threads asking the same question.

 

I fiber glassed my 96' into a wicked nice skinny tail.... But other than that i don't know whether they changed it but i do know that there is a change between 96'- 97'-98'
