F3 stutters & dies, bogs, running horrible above 5k rpm
If you are talking about pressure buildup, It did used to overheat, but that was from a thermostat that did not open fully which is now fixed, but that was a recnet fix and I rode it like 50 miles since then, I dont know if that is related.
When I cleaned the carbs a few weeks ago, it did pour out gas from the air vent filter, I assumed that came from the air vent from the carbs, but that only happened once, never happened again, I really have not pushed her hard for a while, just quick test rides to see if anything I did fixed the bike, but no remedy.
Cant wait to get home and look into the intake and ram hoses. I think we're getting close. I hope I can get her running right by the weekend. Will keep yall updated.
Can someone talk to an admin to get me like an upgraded account, I know a lot about these bikes and I can contribute some good materials. I also want to upload photos in this thread but it wont let me, I assume it is because of new member status, but it has been a while I had this account, i think.

I looked at the manual about the intake vent, it looks like it should be open as roboto says, seems like nothing connects to the interior side of the cover. it can easily come out, Ill probably take it off, see whats the obstruction and soak it in chemdip for 15 minutes or so. Idk i hope this is the source of my issues.
So I took the valve cover off, and the vent was clear of obstruction, I guess that under the valve cover, the top part of the engine where all the cams and valves are does not have an opening and that vent is just for air or something. When I blew in the vent hose with the valve cover on the engine, it acted like a balloon, the air would come swooshing right back out of the top when I took my mouth off the hose, I guess thats normal cause it did it before and after I look off the valve cover. And all the hoses from ram to carbs are free and clear. Put her back together and still runs the same. WTFFFFFFFF
You guys think it would be worth for me to take her to a shop? I'm ready to give up on her. I dont know where else to look.

Not sure if this helps but.. I do alot with Honda quads/dirt bikes.. If these symptoms were on one of those motors I'd be telling you to change your stator. I got a quad in my garage now I picked up cheap last week with exactly the same problem.. Anything over 1/3 throttle it just starts spitting/no power... Drop the revs and it picks right back up.

I'm not even looking at the fuel system yet... My mate is sending me a stator and that's the first thing I'm changing.
It all started after I overfilled the oil, I doubt that the stator is the source of my issues, my bike is mostly mechanical in nature, I also checked the stator wires when I was diagnosing my charging system a few months ago, they were pushing out I believe if I remember right about 40-50ac volts, and my battery starts, so my charging system is on point.
You guys think the ignition pulse generator has anything to do with the source of my woes? I pulled the cover off a few days ago, the electrical part itself was coated with oil along with the spiked rotor, I forgot what it's called. I think that's normal though, being covered in oil, because it is right above the crankcase and connected to the timing chain. But maybe its possible it may have shorted when I overfilled the oil. I am trying to backtrack what I did because prior to me overfilling the oil, the bike rode fine, there were some flat spots, but that's minor.
Maybe someone can help me diagnose the ignition pulse sensor and what it does, maybe that could be the source of my high rpm stutter, bogging and sometimes power loss.
Thanks for continueing to help me out guys, really appreciate the advice!

Maybe also there could.be oil in the engine in a spot its.not supposed to be like a internal vent hole or something, Idk I just trying to see what could have happened when I overfilled the oil. I never did do an oil change when I did over fill it, I simply took out a good bit and refilled it to proper level.
Also when the engine is on, the vent tube that is on top of the valve cover does not seem to suck in air, it really seems like it is pushing out air. Can someone confirm that their bike is doing the same so I can cross that off my list.when the bike off and if I blow into the same tube, it has a balloon type effect where all the air that I justblew in quickly rushes back out, but when the bike is on, it seems to pulse out air from inside the engine.
If someone can confirn that this is normal it would be nice.
Thanks again
