Default F3 Steering

I've checked it out today and everything seems fine except for the steering, it feels really stiff, i was told it was because of the front tire air pressure was low and sure it was ,but is that the only reason ? I just want to make sure..

Over tight head bearing can make the steering seem stiff, but they also affect the handling as well (side to side & cornering) & rebound damping set low can also make the steering feel 'Dead'. If the tyre pressure was really low (like 10 PSI below what it should be), then that would be the reason.

jack the bike up in the front get the tire off the ground see if the bars will fall free from side to side if so then its fine ...... also check the frontend play push on the bike like trying move it ( sitting on the bike ) hold the front brake at the sametime see if it has any movement in it

if it's tough to steer while the wheel its almost always 100% air pressure in the front tire.

theres different pressures you use (think i use 30/32ish)
be careful when you do add air, as it will make your bike very agile, and feel like you're riding on butter.

i'd say its just needs air in the tire but don't ride this thing fast until you put new tires on it you said it had been sitting for along time ........
