f3 fuel pump

Default f3 fuel pump

hey guys im jumping over from the f2 section i was wanting to ask you guys. how much psi does your fuel pumps put out. i was wondering if it would flood my f2 carbs out or not. does it pump all the time or in spurts? any info on the pump would be great thanks in advance. also if anyone ha pictures of where its bolted on the f3 from the factory would be great

F2 doesn't use a fuel pump.F3 does due to the ram air to keep the bowls from running dry in long 4-5-6th gear pulls.

i know the f2 doesnt have a fuel pump thats why i am asking im wanting to put one on it so i can get rid of the crappy petcock and have it to where i dont have to worry about flooding my motor out if i dont turn the gas off. what im wanting to know is will the fuel pump dump to much fuel or what?

Bo it does not pump all the time. But to my knowlege our pumps are told when to pump by the computer when they need fuel; therefore, wouldnt't work with your F2. Just my 2 cents. And believe me when I say you don't want any of our fuel pump issues!

Ok soundslike it might run off of the throttle position sensor. I dont have one of those lol
