Hey when i bought my bike the PO told me that he swapped an f2 motor into my 95 f3. I'm having a few problems with it, one of them being that my tach only works when it wants to. I just realized that the ecm, or cdi boxes from the f2 and f3 are different as well as the wiring harnesses. If i buy an f2 cdi box with it fit the f3 harness?

apparently he threw a rod in the f3's block, so he bought an f2 motor as a cheap replacement. can anybody tell me if the cdi from an f2 will work.

no it's also stumbling in the lower rpms, and it will idle at lik 5-6k while riding. I can get the idle to 1500 while sitting on the side stand but once i lift it upright the idle jumps up high, and when slowing down fast if i don't downshift to every gear and put it in neutral really quick it will most likely stall.
