Well the number to see on motorcyle specs site or even according to Honda is questionable. Most say stock is 96.3 hp at the rear wheel. With everything I'm doing and running race fuel I'm hoping for 105 hp at the wheel. Now just the race crank I put in will free up some power. It weights almost a full pound less than stock. So the engine will have to work less to spin up and get there faster.

Are you staying stock on forks? I am in the process of doing a '98 Gsxr fork conversion with 6 piston calipers for Putnam park. The conversion forks are behemuths and more adjustable with bigger rotors than stock. It will definatly get rid of fork flexing in tight turns. Went through 2 fork seals this season because of fork flexing. Food for thought.

The only thing stock about my forks are the upper and lower tubes.
Sonic Springs 1.1kg
Race Tech G2-R compression valve
Rave Tech HFR rebound valve
Silkolene 05 SYNTHETIC RACING FORK Oil

To stay within the rulebook, I have to use period forks. I can use inverted fork if they are within the cutoff date for the class. Info from other F3 racers tell me that inverts don't flex enough for the frame. I've yet to have a seal problem. I've bent a set of forks crashing in dead bear before. Hitting the blue wall at 70 does some damage.

I'm in the works of making caliper brackets so I can use 4 piston calipers. I just finished the rear wheel conversion from 5" to 5.5".

Not yet, prepping this winter. But have smoked people who have in Brown county and they have been to Putnam and they suggested I start going.

I am doing a complete tear down and rebuild now as we speak.

I hope you get more power than what you estimate it at. Lotta money into this build it looks like.

Not really.
Bore & honing $160
Wisco Pistons $95 (No not each)
Race crank $75
Factory Pro Race Jet Kit $80
Factory Pro Advancer $50
Cosmic head gasket $63.83

The Wisco pistons I got from a company that buys NOS from warehouses and resales. The race crank was a spare that a guy had machined but was getting out of racing now. The jet kit was another NOS from a Ebay dealer. If you think that was all a still. My best one yet was from ebay. Motorcycle salvage yard, all he does is buy old bikes and takes them apart. Everything was buy now prices and I only spent $90 shipped.

Radiator $14.99 used
Front rotors. $14.99 used
Ohlins rear shock $19.99 used.

Yes an Ohlins rear shock for $19.99. New cost $900. No leaks or blown seals. Just have to see about getting it revalved.
