Does anyone know what the compression numbers are for a 1997 F3? I know i should buy the manual but i haven't yet.

 

185-191 PSI off the factory floor.

would anyone know off hand what the compression numbers should be for a cold engine?

 

I took at look at the manual. It does not say what the cold compression should be just that the engine should be warmed to normal operating temperature and between 185 - 191psi. I would suspect if you are anywhere near this during cold test that you should be okay.. <shrug>

 

i have downloaded the manual but it is such a pain to have to come in and look at it for everything i need. im just going to order a haynes manual to add to my wall i have of them for every other vehicle i have owned.
