Default F3 coming to me soon! PICS

I found (I think) an awesome deal on a 97 F3. It's got 19000 miles on it and has been properly maintained throughout it's life. I haven't gotten a chance to see it yet, but the owner has done some custom body work to it and added a vance and hines slip on to it. I think it looks amazing with the color scheme and overall look of the bike. but my big concern is the mileage. It 19k miles high for a 97 bike? I'm getting hte bike for 2500, but I'm getting a loan for like 3600 to cover protective gear, insurance, plates, etc and I don't want to be spending all my cash on rebuilding an engine right off the bat. I know honda cars are very very reliable and I hope the same goes for the bikes.

Any input is appreciated!!!!

Thanks!

I had 22,000 on mine and it ran as strong as the day i bought it. But be leary of the custom work, so people know what they are doing when it comes to that sort of stuff but their are alot more people that don't

The bodywork was done by a local shop. I'm not sure if he meant custom plastics or custom paint, because it is custom painted.

He said if shifts smooth and runs like a champ like brand new so I'm going to be a proud owner of a F3!!!!!

Alright, here are a few pics of her. These were sent from the seller and it'll be delivered soon!!!

What do you guys think? And the body work on it is from sharkskinz racing bodies.

I think it's sexy and I love the color scheme.

Looks very nice. Personally I'm not a big fan of yellow on any bike but a Ducatti, but its definitley unique and looks great. Don't worry about the mileage either, from what I've heard proper maintenance can make these Hondas last a long long time. I just bought a '98 about 2 weeks ago with 25000 miles, its running strong and I hope it stays that way in the future.

I have owned my bike since it had 1 mile on it. It now has 43000 on it. I haven't had any major issues with it until recently and those are just charging issues. They will last forever is maintained.

I got mine with 46000 done and now its 56000. It still feels and runs like brand new,for a 8 yearold bike , partly due to the fact that the previous owner broke it in good. Honda are more than reliable.

by the way are those decals on the paintwork

The previous owner took great care of the engine. He's changed plugs and all fluids on time every season and recently fixed the charging system. He's maintained it and never laid it down so I'm pretty sure that the bike is in great running shape. He said it shifts perfect, runs perfect, and starts the first press of the starter. So I'm sure that this bike will last me a long while. They are decals with a clear coat over them.
