I was doin some clean-up/maint. work on my 97 f3 when i got a strange overwhelming urge to check the condition of the packing inmy micron exhaust and foundthe packing rollto be rather worn out and split in some places. After having to hurriedly clean up my mess and head off to work, I didnt put it all back together. The next day i took a quick ride down to the store for a 6 pack of "essentials" and noticed i rather liked the sound of the exhaust. My question is this: can or will there be any adverse effects to my engine such as valve problemsetc... Im not too worried about the loss of low end power just mechanical complications.
