hey guys i have a question concerning the engine mount bolts. specifically the ones just above the swing arm bolt. we did not get them with our frame and engine. i dont have the frame in from of me right now but i believe it is the upper bolt in the back that i have the question about.

on the right side of the bike, where the bolt goes through the frame, there is a hole that is threaded with some big threads. on the other side it is a regular sized hole. when i look on ebay, all of the bolts i see are just regular sized the whole way. is there a sleeve that gets threaded into the frame before the bolt goes through or is there a fancy bolt with bid threads near the head that belongs there?

when i first looked at it i thought there was going to be some special bolt similar to a snomobile clutch puller, (http://i24.ebayimg.com/04/i/001/8a/37/a53b_1_sbl.JPG like this only the same diameter the whole why and threads on the end for a nut)

but since i cant find anything on ebay that looks like that im confused. help!

yeah i have looked at those already... they just show a straight bolt... but when i can fit my finger in the hole on the right and not on the left there has to be something im missing

 

it's an adjustable spacer that threads in the hole, it's used to snug the frame to the engine, then it has a nut on it that locks it in position if I'm not mistaken

 

yep thats exactly what it is. i ended up buying a pile of bolts from ebay. i could see what looked like what i needed in the picture. they came yesterday and sure enough all is good.
