Does it ever end? (problems continue)
Finally got my bike running again, after roughly a month of it being down. When the battery blew up it caused a surge that took out the CDI Box, a 10amp Relay, 2 fuses, and my headlamp. So after dropping close to $200 my bike is finally rideable again. This afternoon after I got everything tightened down, and ran a few more tests, I got to take her out for a ride. Everything seemed great, ran very smooth (charged the K&N).....but I noticed that now my speedo doesn't work! AH! When does it end!?
So now again, the "fix it"/"buy it" list has another thing on it. Rawr
1. Chain
2. Temp Sensor
3. Gauge Cluster
4. Bar Ends
5. Mirrors
6. OEM Style windscreen
7. Targa cowl / custom cowl
and somewhere in there are some frame sliders. I would hate for all my hard work to be trashed. Trying to decide weither or not to do the F4i swap.

If you did not take the speedo apart, then check more fuses. The chances of that going out is slim to none if you had a surge. Everything is fused for a reason. NOW, if your tach works then check the connection by taking it off. It makes it easier to take off the windscreen. Good luck.
i just did the chain/tires thing..that was fun with the wallet
with your speedo..reach into there and find the plug behind the speedometer. Just try to push it in a little more

Yeah I just did the tires not too long ago. I now have to replace a tail fairing. Sad part it seems you have totry to keep up with repair on the older bikes. Nice 1998 600F3 Seven Star Replica looks clean.
