Yo Guys Need some RPM Help,
So I took the bike up north to wisconsin this weekend and really got to know it. So im hitting a lot of different speeds and RPMs but I noticed when Im cruising around 4k I've notice a sort of threshold that the bike starts to chirp a little, obvious power loss, But I was wondering what you're cruising RPMs are. Im used to my uncles harleys shifting around 3500 but his tach only goes to about 6 or 7k whereas ours go to beyond 11- I think. Let me know. Plus I like the fact that I can hear the bike around 4500 and beyond.

cruising I'm at 5k -7k rpms. thru town even lower. In the twisties..... umm nm

 

Im guessing you're filling up often?- or not too shabby?

 

yeah i agree with him. cruising around 5000-7000. thru town around 4-6 to keep it quiet. when driving like an ******* 8000-13500
when shifting i usually go to 7 grand minimum unless im in town.
get gas after around 130 miles and takes around 3 gallons everytime
