Yep it can be done but none of the bolts are going to match up. Search for a f3 f4i fairing swap how to. Its been done plenty of times.

BUMMER! lol, any ideas what is compatible? i need plastics in the worst way, id hate to turn this beautiful machine into one of those so called "street fighters". its funny, i had a cbr replica, pocket rocket, and the plastics brand new for the whole kit was 50 bux, lol. i guess im into a new price league. btw, this forum is awesome!

Going to take some modification but not too bad to do. Some basic tools and small understanding and you should be good to go

It's been done, from what I understand it's not too bad, but you DO need the F4 main
stay. That's what holds the front of the fairing with the headlights, mounted to the frame.
Most folks, go ahead and do the guage swap as well, since the F3 guages will no longer
mount without modding up a new bracket. There are several good posts on this here.

It's, probably gonna cost more to switch, than to e-bay a new set. Unless this guy lets
the F4i's go REALLY cheap. Honestly, with patience, you can find the F3's reasonably priced.

Hope this helps., Ern

what i meant to say, and probably should have, was that its not a direct fit. anything can be done with modification. sometimes lots, sometimes not so much.

if you get direct fit, they should bolt right on.
