Default coil on plug conversion

I started working on a coil over plug setup for my racebike.

I put a set of 06 600rr coils on, and modified the harness so that it would hook up to the stock coil signal wires for the right cylinders.

It didnt work. Is there something im missing while doing this ?

Has anyone eles tried this ?

How did you have them wired? For like cylinders (either 1,4 or 2,3) run your power wire (black/white) to one of the new plugs. Then connect the other wire from new plug to wire on the corresponding plug. Then run negative wire from your ecu to the remaining wire. If you don't there's not enough resistance to make it work right. Essentially you're turning 2 of those coil plugs into just one plug.

basically, I have both of the color wires spliced and pluged into the color wire to on coil, then the black with white stripe done the same connected to the black/white wire on the bike. 1 and 4 to one, and 2 and 3 to the other.

Okay I suck at explaining LOL. Take 1 and 4 coil plugs. Take wire from one plug and connect it with one wire from the other plug. You have 2 loose wires left. Connect one to the neg. wire from your ecu. Connect the other one to the black/white 12V wire. Do the exact same to the other 2 plugs (2,3). Is that any clearer? Sorry, like I said, not much at explaining. I can show all day but hard to do over internet.

I put 1/4 and 2/3 next to each other to make it clearer. Obviously that's not the order they go on your motor LOL. I installed them on my 900 like you have yours and it sounded like it was running on 2 cylinders. Can't remember what your negative wire colors are...blue/yellow and yellow/blue?

What year of bike did you install these on, as I'm trying to figure out if this can be done to the VFR 750. Right now we're not too sure because of the CDI box, and it appears that the newer bikes run TCI boxes. Don't ask me what all that means, as I'm still trying to figure it out, but any help that you could provide will be gratly appreciated!!!
