Clutch question
I have a clutch that is sticking sometimes with the clutch in on my F3. I adjusted the cable and it took all the free play out.
So it is time for a clutch.
The service manager at the local Honda shop told me to remove the 2 judder (22125-ML7-000 & 22402-ML7-000)and the single odd friction plate(22202-MAE-000) and add an additional friction (22201-MAL-600). He said this was a mod that they did on the CBR's that they sponsored on the track.
I was wondering if anyone has done this and what the results were?

My buddy did something like that to his 900rr, took a plate out and put another disc in or something. I dont remember to sure exactly but personally i think he lost count lol. anyways on his clutch it grabs real firm but doesnt like first gear at all. could be from that i guess. I know before he did it the clutch would slip about 8k rpm and now it holds tight but first is a pain.
Got it all put together! WOW!!!!
Clutch must have been slipping when I bought the bike!
I ended up replacing the clutch cable, 9 frictions and the pressure plate.
I have never ridden a bike that squats like this one does now! I am just amazed!!
