Hey guys,

Long story short completely lost my clutch cable and ability to clutch out even pulling the lever by hand/foot by the right case last week. Towed back to my place and opened her up. Lo and behold the clutch springs were putting uneven pressure on my lifter rod causing it to have friction against the center staked bolt. Bought new springs and now thing slides like butter!

Here comes the prob: I fitted the cover back on and now have some play in the sprung lever on the case but i am not sure if it is back to normal. Is there any way to check or have a pic showing what a fully open clutch position looks like before I put my new oil in and start her up??

OK so I got it back together, oiled up, started engine and .... same problem :'(
When I put the bike in gear from neutral holding the clutch lever open it kicks as if i dont have the clutch open and stalls out.... Im super lost. Should I open it back up and take all the plates, etc. out? Worried about that center bolt of doom I have read about...
