Default clutch help

Ok so does anyone know how to reinstal the clutch on a cbr 600 f3? i know on newer bikes its easy, you tighten down the bolts and put everything together but on this bike, the bolts that go through the springs if you tighten them all the way down then you wont have any clutch at all. but of coarse you have to tighten them some or it just wont work. How far in do the screws go? Or how far do i need to back them out after putting them all the way in?

those bolts have to be torqued down to. double check with a service manual, but i think its 11 or 12 ft/lb's.

i have them torque down. there is no tension on the clutch lever. is there something inbetween the sliver ball lookin thing and the center of the clutch basket.

is your clutch cable adjusted correctly?
