Default Choke problem

Hey guys,
I have a problem with choke. When I engage the choke on my CBR F3 1997 I can see the RPMs go higher to about 2500 but then immediately go back to the idle (1200-1500) and stay at that level. After engaging the choke again nothing happens. I cleaned every part of my carbs and checked the cable but nothing helpls. So its kinda hard for me know to start the bike in cooler weather. Tried to search the forum but couldn t find any anwer.
Thanks in advance

does it go back to that idle of 1200-1500 when the bike is warmed up ? cause 13-1500 rpm is a good idle in most places.

Default RE: Choke problem

The choke goes back to idle immediately after I try to engage it. I can see RMPs go a bit higher to about 2500-2700 but then they immediately return to the start position. Engaging the choke back and force then does not give anything and RPMs just stay in idle or lower and bike shuts off. I have to hold the throttle to keep the bike running until it worms up. After about half an hour of riding the bike works well enough. The problem is that it seems like the choke does not give anything. It seems to be working for a fraction of a second at the beginning but afterworlds it does not work at all. So if the weather is a bit cooler starting my bike may become a problem.
Thanks

I have the same problem. Except when I turn on my choke my bike usually stops running.
