charging issues

Default charging issues

well i have just recently put a new volatage regulator and a new batterie about two weeks ago. road great no problems starting now my battery is completly drained.so oviously im having a charging issue. has anyone else had a problem like this? if so please let me know

I"m gonna go with a bad ground.

New battery and rectifier? Either your stator is shot or you have a bad ground. That's my guess.

im going to vote for a bad stator or the reg you replaced was also bad lol one weak link in the system will domino effect everything else untill you have to replace it all over again @ one time.

its kinda like replacing your chain and sprocket. if you replace just the bad one , the others are already effected and will negatively effect the new one .

well i tested the continuity of the stator and it checked out. however when i rev the engine past 3500 it only pushes 12.4 volts and i think the norm is somewhere between 13 and 15 volts. so any options on wether it could be the stator

check the continuity(can't spell) between the yellow wires. it should be about 5 ohms. something like that.
