Cbr600f3 ticking noise
I will try attach the video but it diddnt let me I have a rattle on the ride side predominately that started after having ran for abit over an hour after a new thermostat and carb rebuild I have ordered a manuel cct could it be anything else when it first started the bike occasionally misfired aswell
Hey Killerrkc03,
when mine did this i replaced the cct to a manual one and it was fine touch wood ever since, but a few questions nethertheless: what sort of miles has your bike done?, have you checked the oil, when was the last time you checked/changed it. believe it or not could also be an exhaust leak or head gasket, especially if the sound is sharp and it increases with rpm. clutch basket can also cause a ticking noise if the clutch is worn. im not a mechanic nor do i pretend to be but these are a few things id check having seen them before. one of the others will no doubt be wayyyyy more qualified than i
let me know how you get on!
a backfire tells me you should give your carbs, coils and plugs a little peek too.
