CBR600F3 steering stabilizer
Picked up this 95 f3, on full throttle and coming down from wheelies the front end likes to shake pretty good. Not sure if it's due to extra acceleration from the 55 tooth rear sprocket or if its something wrong with the front end (replaced tires by the way). Doesn't really matter, so I wanted to do a cheap fix. I began by looking for a Scotts or GPR steering damper. They don't exist. In fact, none of the big name companies make any stabilizers for the F2/F3
There are a couple expensive ones out there from obscure companies, or you can rig up one up from one of those generic ebay dampers. I was lucky to find a vendor selling an old unopened kit on ebay from a company called TOBY for about $50. They are out of Belgium. The install instructions were in many languages, including extremely broken English. Anywho, here are some pics of the bike and the newly installed stabilizer. Works very well to slow the steering rate and is adjustable. Does not interfere with maximum steering angle like other kits.

Head shake be gone!
