RE: Steering Stabilizer
I have a Scotts on my bike and like it a lot. It eliminated the shake my bike had and lets me beat on it a little more. My vote goes for a rotary style damper (Scotts or GPR) because I hear they have a better survival rate if you go down. Maybe do a search and see if the topic has come before.

RE: Steering Stabilizer
i run an ohlins stabilizer (916 style.) love it. lots of adjustability. a riding buddy bought a toby stabilizer that is similar to my ohlins unit but with less adjustability and quite a bit cheaper. i have the scott's rotary on my dirtbike and it works very well too. whatever the brand or style you choose, it will be the best improvement that you do to your bike. by the way, if you are looking for a good deal, you can buy an ohlins stabilizer made for any bike from ebay (or elsewhere) and purchase the specific brackets from ohlins. might save you a couple of bucks.
