That's correct meter behavior. Infinite ohms is open-circuit, no connection at all. So meter wouldn't beep because there's no continuity.

Please redo #7, 8 & 9, there should be state difference on kickstand switch when it's up versus down.

Then trace grn/wht wire from kickstand forward. It should then connect to clutch switch. You can do #5 & 6 once you've found that wire at clutch-switch connector

#10 should be direct connection between kickstand-switch and igntion-module. So 0-ohms, full-continuity. Inspect for corrosion at terminals on both ends. If you can't get 0-ohms reading, then trace wire and look for breaks.

I traced the wires for the kick stand and found out that the kickstand switch was broken. So I swapped out the kickstand from the parts bike I have on and everything works!! Push the start switch and the engine turns over and I have spark!!

Thanks for all you help guys!! This would have taken me a long time to figure out on my own!

One last thing, for the fuel, can it be run gravity fed straight from the tank or do I need the fuel pump to work?

Awesome job tracking down kickstand!

You can try gravity feed. Especially if you can position tank higher above carbs than on bike. Usually can only use about 1/2-tank on bike due to lack of pressure when level gets lower.
