Question CBR 600 F3 - Sproket vs RIM size question vs Tire size

Hi
I bought that CBR 600 F3 about a year ago and now the rear tire need to be replaced.

So, I was looking on the sites for the size, as I did not had the bike near me for the past few weeks (stored for winter)...

Long story short... turns out that the 160-60-17 (original size) is not what I have on the bike actually. I have 180-55-17..

Also my Chain and Sprockets are due as well... so in addition to the tire not being the original, looks like the guy that had it previously also replaced the wheel which was a 4.5 by a 5.0 inch rim, which is a honda 17XMT5.0 DOT wheel.

So, few questions as I know nothing about Bike wheels etc..
I know a lot about cars but different game, right?

Here are my questions.

Keep in mind that I would really prefer to not change the whole wheel...

1- Should I go back to 160-60-17 size? I heard that it would be easier in the curves etc.. (I am not doing any track day)...
Would you suggest to stay on a 180-55-17 tire if this is what I had for a year and did not had issues?
Would a 160 looks really smaller than a 180? mean the guy had the back tail removed / modified so all we see is that tire...
I also read that 180 are better in the rain.. I was thinking to go with 160-60-17 Metzeler M7RR or the 180 version now that I know it is what I had.
However I now wonder how that will be on a 5.0 wheel.

2- Would a 160-60-17 Tire fit on a 5.0 rim?.. I think it does based on wheel size / fitment etc...

3- Now.. if I keep the 5.0 wheel... is the sprocket the same on a 4.5 and 5.0 wheel.
As on sites usually they ask for you bike year model and gives you a list of what fit on this.. but I assume that is if you still have original part...

4- If I want to replace the damper etc.. in the center hub of the wheel, are they the same for a 4.5 than a 5.0 wheel.

Looks like the sprocket (teeth) are still the same so no reduction or addition was made.. 15 front / 43 back.

I just need to figure out if basically everything changes (damper or other center wheel parts ) if you have a 5.0 rim vs a 4.5 one or if it is just the size at top that is a little larger and everything is the same?

Any help will be greatly welcomed.

A 5" wheel will certainly accommodate a 170 tire, but if your tire choice isn't available in a 170, I'd fall back to a 160. Lots of guys put a 180 on a 5" rim, but no manufacturer will recommend you put a 180 on anything narrower than 5.5", as it screws up the profile. I think I'd follow their recommendation.
